LOMS SEAFOOD UPDATE

That sauce I think was on point very flavorful. Since I didn't like their red cocktail sauce I ate it with the tartar sauce. That was fine since it's all fried food it's filling anyways. The fish were small pieces, I thought we'd get a filet but they were like half of filets so the two pieces combined made one filet. So first off they do not skimp on the fries! However, they were just ok. On the table, they only had one type of hot sauce (no tobasco) but that sauce was very similar to it and was great.ДЇor the combo that we both got which included two fish, 2 shrimp, one crab cake, coleslaw and fries. I'm used to a more liquidy sauce for my oysters. When I opened the lid, I thought they double lidded my container but turns out it was just an imprint on the sauce which was verrry thick almost like jello. Horseradish sauce was great but the cocktail sauce was the same sauce for our combo-which was ok. They looked huge but were actually small oyster meat pieces which I actually prefer. Although quite busy it was not hard to get a table. So I did like the options depending on the view and mood you are in. We had the option of dining indoor, outdoor, or upstairs outdoor. The price was average for what we received. What was ordered was a half dozen oysters and two combos. Upon entering, the wait to order was pretty quick and even getting our meal was quick. Not bad but not amazing either! First, it's starting to get busy through covid and although we had to wait to enter the parking lot, the wait was honestly not that bad. However, to me, the food was for the most part very plain. Raving reviews brought me here this Sunday afternoon. The employee who rung up my order wasn't friendly. The pieces were pretty small, smallest of any I've seen anywhere else (other restuarants and grocery stores)

It wouldn't have been good to swallow that.Д¬alifornia roll - which I said above I was charge $1 more than what the menus showed. A couple of them weren't just sandy, but had tiny pebbles that I had to spit out. The oysters were small and still with the pooh in them. I wanted it by itself, not in a combo and it was $2 less than if I had ordered a combo plate with cold slaw and fries. I've tasted better.ДЇried oysters - Good flavor itself.

The texture was pretty ground up, kind of hard, and the flavor wasn't great. Neither my fiance' nor I cared for the crab cake at all. The shrimp tasted like frozen grocery store shrimp you can cook at home.

The fish and shrimp didn't have any flavor. (fried) combo plate with fried fish, crab cake, shrimp - I seemed to have been charged $3 more for the 2 plates I ordered than what was posted on the menu too for some reason.

I didn't question the employee, but you'd think if they changed their prices that they'd update their store menu board AND website menu. I stood at the counter and patiently waited for several minutes and someone finally came over to take my order, so no problem.ДЇor some reason, I later saw on my receipt that I was charged $1 more for the California roll sushi even though the menu board above and their website said the $1 less price. It was quite crowded for a regular weekday. I walked in to make a takeout order for the first time on a Thursday in February. It seems like a popular place, but the food was nothing special. I seemed to have been charged more than what the menu prices said for some unknon reason.
